Introduction to their Privacy Statement
About this project
Aegon has an extensive privacy statement that they handle very carefully. To give visitors to their website and customers a quick insight into the content of their statement, they were looking for an accessible introduction, by means of an animation.
I was approached by social agency Lijm Amsterdam to implement this. The script and storyboard were already worked out. Using this as the basis, I started to create the right visual style.
3D Animation
The animation can also be viewed on the website of Aegon.
Concept
In this concept, the blue square from the logo comes to life and changes into a 3D safe, containing personal data. Each side of the safe forms the stage for a chapter from the story. The challenge was to design it in a friendly and simplistic 3D animation without it becoming childish; keep the image and the message in balance.
After approval of the stills, I continued modeling and eventually animating the shots to make the story come to life!
